| Thaiwijit
Poengkasemsomboon is one of Thailand's leading abstract artists.
He creates works in a variety of media, and often works with
abstractions that stimulate the viewer's emotions.
Thaiwijit perceives himself as an ordinary person and his paintings are
a reflection of an ordinary human's life. He prefers
to live without excesses, in the Buddhist-inspired way of following the
middle path. He has participated in numerous exhibitions in
Thailand and also in Germany (1986, 1994), Canada (1990), USA (1991),
and Hong Kong (2001). |
